Notice of counterfeit Omron products in India

It has been brought to our knowledge that there are counterfeit OMRON devices and accessories manufactured and distributed illegally with the OMRON logo, sold by unauthorised distributors and resellers in the Indian market online.

Particularly, we have noticed the following products:

1. blood glucose monitors that claim to not require the drawing of blood or pricking of the skin;
2. automatic wrist blood pressure measuring instruments; and
3. non-invasive laser therapy watches that claim to measure health metrics including blood glucose levels and blood pressure.

Please take CAUTION that none of the abovementioned products are part of the Omron portfolio or are manufactured by Omron. Some indicative images of the products are set out below:

While these products may bear the OMRON product packaging and logo, please be warned that these products are not manufactured by OMRON. We cannot confirm the safety requirements and quality standards of these products.

We are currently in the process of investigating these counterfeit products and intend to pursue legal action against these manufacturers for infringement of OMRON’s intellectual property.

As OMRON is committed to our mission to improve lives of our customers, we believe that ensuring and protecting our superior product quality is integral to achieve this. Hence, we wish to caution consumers to check and to contact us as soon as you observe any of these products being sold in your locality. We further request customers to exercise judgement and verify that
your Omron product is genuine and meets the health and safety requirements.
